About the work: Developed on the theme “A Beautiful Gift” this chocolate contains ingredients for skin enhancement. The bright and lively image conveys to the recipient of the chocolate an encouraging message of “Becoming even more beautiful!” The creative graphics have cacao as their motif in a design that feels elegant. Beautiful colors on the textured paper combine to appeal simultaneously to the sight and touch while expressing a new feeling of luxury and distinctiveness not found in the market before.

About the work: Imagine wandering through bustling markets and enchanting souks lined with alluring scents. A basket of sweet bananas to your left, freshly cut watermelon up ahead, T2 Fruits tea is part of T2’s 2016 Christmas campaign. Just as nature intended, the T2 Fruits tea packaging is 100% glue less and environmentally friendly. The design is printed on uncoated Metsä Board’s fresh fibers paperboard to echo the natural feel of the fruit, while the logo has been reworked to resemble tiny fruit stickers. With practicality in mind, T2 Fruits tea was designed to make it easy for the teas to be popped inside during assembly. T2 Fruits tea is a festival of flavor.

About the work: The concept of the G-Flex Package design is “curved display”. We designed G-Flex package to appeal the curved display to the customers. So customers can feel the real curve of the product display, and expect the real product, before they open the package. Also G-Flex package was made of 100% eco-friendly paper and soy ink to protect the global environment

About the work: Lingyun Baihao is originated in Lingyun County, which is the tea home in China. Lingyun County is a place of mountain and water, which it is comfortable to live. In this packaging, we vector draw a beautiful tealeaf pyramid mountain which is exclusive in Lingyun County. We distinguished the tealeaf by its colors of green, red and black, which is convenient for customers. At the same time, we sketched the costume of Yao nationality living in Lingyun County, which makes this package more special from others.

About the work: The ”Beautiful Coffee” foundation aimed to create an organic, fair-trade chocolate brand. The package design was an opportunity to represent the growing hope made possible by fair trade practices. Solution: we differentiated the package by using a unique design solution focused on the ”unpacking ceremony”. The growing cacao tree is a symbol of growing hope made possible through fair trade. The package design implies that: ”Just as trees need sufficient amount of water, sunlight and nutrition to grow, we need everyone’s active participation for fair trade practices to take root in society.”

About the work: Every year, Nestlé develops a Christmas present (gift item and chocolate) for its Swiss employees and VIPs worldwide. The theme of the 2010 gift was “Swissness”, which was translated in the form of the traditional Swiss papercutting subject Poya on the chocolate box, and the glass confectionery dish in the shape of a bell (alluding to a typical cowbell).

About the work: MC2U (Merry Christmas to You) is a special Christmas gift-box packaging of Jiu Zhen Nan’s classic pineapple cake. Due to its cute and simple appearance, the packaging was very well received by consumers during the holiday season. Taking the standard gold boxes for the pineapple,GIDEA created a very practical packaging, using gold with white to communicate a timeless holiday spirit.

About the work: Created for Jiu Zhen Nan (est. 1890), one of the oldest and most beloved traditional pastry brand in Taiwan as a lunar new year gift box.Inspired by candy trays found in almost all Chinese homes, which holds an assortment of candies and cookies for visiting family and friends.

We wanted to create an unique “opening” experience, where the user sees a wonderful world of treats revealed upon opening, and also make the process as “ready to eat” as possible.

The Four Black Boxes also represent the four seasons, and the Gold boxes in the middle represent the rising sun, which signal a grand beginning to the new year, hence the name “Again, New Beginning”

About the work: Exclusive, simple packaging for the latest Widex ITE and BTE series hearing aids. As the package is opened, a simple two-layer raster effect displays a sound wave spelling out the Widex slogan “High Definition Hearing”, making it come alive. The package contents include a handy leather pouch produced using a double plastic molding process. The pouch holds a variety of hearing aids for convenient transportation and storage, and fits in your bag or pocket while on the road. Since a hearing aid is a valuable and highly personal item, great effort was expended to make it as small and effective as possible.

About the work: Pure innovation. The folding carton for the quality spirit “Bombay Sapphire” is probably the world’s first packaging with printed, actively illuminated surfaces which can be bought off the shelf – implemented with the protected technology “HiLight – printed electronics”. The illuminated animation on the front of the packaging is triggered by an innovative and intuitive mechanism as soon as the packaging is held in the hand. The illuminated scene is set in five consecutive stages from bottom to top. This packaging defines new standards for the presentation of a brand at the POS with a degree of attention which has never been achieved before.

Conclusion: For the customer, the packaging speaks the quality of product inside. High quality packaging can create value and have a deep and lasting impression. We need to understand the impact of packaging on the image and the overall brand.
